Topic: Approx. 1 in 44 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Autism refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, and speech and nonverbal communication. These challenges can be triggered unexpectedly, and oftentimes, the dental chair, this unfamiliar place, out of the routine situation, can be a lot for ASD patients.
