2025 GHDHA Esther Wilkins Application (Now Open!!)

The Esther Wilkins Award is given to a graduate dental hygienist who has made outstanding contributions to the dental hygiene profession. Nominations are open to any ADHA Member.  Each nominee must complete an application in order to be considered for the award.  Attendance is required at the Greater Houston Dental Hygienists’ Association Monthly Meeting on May 6, 2025 to receive the award. This award includes a $250 cash prize and an engraved plaque sponsored by Cloud Dentistry. The deadline is April 1, 2025.

2025 GHDHA Future Leader Award Application (Now Open!!)

The goal of the Future Leader award is to recognize outstanding leadership and dedication to the profession of dental hygiene by a GHDHA member within 4 years of graduation.  Attendance is required at the Greater Houston Dental Hygienists’ Association Monthly Meeting on May 3, 2022 to receive the award. This award includes a $150 cash prize and an engraved plaque sponsored by Heartland Dental. The deadline is April 1, 2025.

Outstanding Leadership Award (Now Open!!)

This award is given to a second-year dental hygiene student for outstanding leadership and professional growth potential. The recipient will receive a plaque and one-year membership to ADHA. See your SCADHA advisors for more information on how to apply. The deadline is April 1, 2025
