GHDHS HY-PAC
Defend the investment you have made in the dental hygiene profession by supporting GHDHS and Texas Dental Hygienists' Political Action Committee. TEX-Hy PAC is a voluntary non-profit committee which supports the goal of TDHA and those political candidates who have demonstrated an interest in the excellence in our profession. Legislative decisions and government regulations are being made concerning health care delivery and dental hygiene practice. We must be an active part of that decision process. In non-legislative years this a continuous process that requires support from all dental hygienist. If all dental hygienist could pay $20 to HY-PAC, we could reach our goal set by TDHA for our local component. Every contribution is greatly appreciated. Garden Cart Raffle The Garden cart will contain a variety of different gardening supplies and items that can be used or displayed in a garden. Members will be asked to donate a " gardening item" in return for two raffle tickets. Chances will be sold at all GHDHS Events by members. Names, Occupations and Addresses of persons buying tickets must be turned in as a HY-PAC contribution with the raffle tickets and money. Members who pay $20 to TEX Hy-PAC toward GHDHS's 2008 obligation, will receive 6 raffle tickets for chances to win the "Garden Cart". Send contributions and tickets to Chair, Nancy Johnson, RDH,606 Welch # B Houston, Texas 77006. Checks payable to TEX-HyPAC.
